Amy Sedaris' Cakes and Jimmies
A couple of months ago, I blogged about how excited I was to read Amy Sedaris' new book, "I Like You." It did not disappoint and to accompany her writings on how to be the ideal hostess, Ms. Sedaris now has a line ofpersonally-autographed fake cakes and a "Jar of Jimmies" over at FredFlare.com. I think the cakes are beautiful and they remind me so much of the ornate Cuban cakes that old fashioned Cuban bakeries in Miami would proudly display on their windows. They weren't for sale but I always wanted to take one home!

Todd Merrill Antiques
Gorgeous tufted Italian brass chairs from the early 1960's.
Curtis Jere Chrome Raindrops (much more spectacular in person)
Vladimir Kagan Contour Wing Chair aka My Dream Chair
Raymond Lowey Dresser
While stepping off the 6 Train on Bleeker yesterday, I happened to stroll by Todd Merrill Antiques and came across the most gorgeous collection of 20th Century furniture and decorative objects! I'm lucky to live in a city where such pieces are abundant but this particular spot had my ideal collection in regards to era, materials and color.

Orla Kiely-- Interior Design Yayness
I read about Orla Kiely's beautiful products over at Oh Joy!, and while exploring their site saw these fabulous photos of their flagship store's interior! I'm not overreacting when I say that this has to be one of the cutest shops I have ever seen! That woodgrain paired with the peacock blue is to-die-for.

Mr. & Mrs. Jones Juicers
According to 2Jane.com, "no better wedding gift exists" and I would have to agree!
